I am amazed at the difference between last year's resolutions in comparison to what is on my mind this year. In one year, how our priorities can change! Last year one of my resolutions was actually to wear aprons when I cooked. Seriously. Instead of being embarrassed, which was my initial feeling, I am embracing the changes that have taken place in me over this beautiful year.
This year... I resolve to...
- Learn to surf
- Go on a weekend trip completely alone
- Continue meditation practice throughout the year
- Play music
I have tons of other ideas for the year, and I hope to explore the world around me and my inner self more than ever. 2012 is going to be big. Who's ready!??!?

Surf. yay!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love last years resolutions. I looked back at some of mine and some were so laughable, especially in retrospect as I'm now 8 months pregnant and about to have a baby. The things I thought important back then are no longer, but I guess that will always be the case.
ReplyDeleteI love your last year's resolution too. I really need to wear an apron when I am cooking - for some reason I get food all over my clothes! I hope this year is perfect for you, and what great resolutions!
ReplyDeleteI should resolve to meditate too! And yeah, resolutions do change drastically in a year.
ReplyDeleteI'm the sme, I had fifteen resolutions last year (and I achieved nine of them!) but this year I just want to pay off my debts and go on holiday by myself. That's why I love documenting these thigns in blogs and diaries: I think we learn so much about ourselves by re-reading it :)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to actually stick to my resolutions this year!! I wanted to tell you I love your blog first, and I passed on a blog award to you, check out my latest post! XOXOXO
