I'm motivated by the sensation of creation. When I make something new, it's a new thing out in the world that didn't exist before. I live for that feeling.

A local jewelry artist has an etsy shop and she just filled it up with goodies. She's absolutely amazing. I only have a few pieces of hers but I find all of my other jewelry collecting dust. Her etsy shop is Bahgsu Jewels.

I am absolutely PUMPED about my brother's gift. He has an infatuation and a connection with his dog like none I have ever seen before, and my other brother and I got Chase and his pug Cassidee an appointment with a pet psychic.

1. What's the most important thing you learned from your mother? I learned how to be a mother myself and the thing that I did not want to repeat with my own children.

ReplyDeleteSelfless love. Truly caring for those outside your family and expecting nothing in return.
She fostered a child for 18 years and invited a bunch of neighbours to Christmas lunch so they wouldn't be alone. She's not a religious person but she did this out of kindness.

When on our second date, we stopped making out to discuss at length, Degrassi Junior high.

Have a shower, use lots of yummy smelling products and play some happy music.

It started to be all about crafty stuff but it's evolved so much because I'm very isolated in a small town and needed a way to connect with the rest of the world.

ReplyDeleteBeing a good mother means: love yourself...only then you're able to love your kids in a wonderful way!
2. How did you/will you know you're with the right one?
Well, I fear this sounds quite corny...but: I knew it from the first moment. After a 5year relationship break up...I found out that my boyfriend was cheating on me...I finally feld better and I decided to travel trough south africa to celebrate my new freedom. After a dusty, exhausting day in the namibian desert, I had dinner at a camp and suddenly I feld watched...I raised my head and looked into his eyes...and I simply knew: he's the one! (...just for the record: we're now married for more than nine years and we have two kids...so I was right:)
3. What has been the most beautiful moment in your life this far?
That's difficult...there were plenty of wonderful moments in my life...the first kiss, giving birth e.g. ...but I also remember the small, magic moments...and there I was always by myself!

the mix of softness and strength...for sure!
